Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and power tools with precision and attention to detail
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications
- Assist with concrete finishing, masonry touch-ups, or restoration tasks as needed to support overall project completion
- Operate heavy equipment and hand tools safely to facilitate surface preparation and finishing processes
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople to coordinate work seamlessly on-site




- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly

Qualifications

- Proven experience in construction painting or related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or restoration work
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools (brushes, scrapers), power tools (spray guns, drills), and heavy equipment operation when necessary
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints effectively
- Familiarity with flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry installation, electrical experience or plumbing is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction painting and equipment use
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
