Qualifications – Ontario Healthcare Facility

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to direct and support a Rehabilitation Assistant and Recreation Therapist
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Start Date: Immediate
- End Date: Permanent, Full-Time
- Accommodations: $500 accommodation allowance for the first 3 months
- Travel: Not covered
- Hours: Full-time

Responsibilities:
Physiotherapists are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Assess, develop, and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans for patients across outpatient, acute care, complex continuing care, and long-term care settings
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient recovery and mobility
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as appropriate, and provide education to patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional and organizational standards
- Supervise and provide direction to Rehabilitation Assistants while promoting safe, evidence-based patient care

Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility and shift,



with specific guidance provided during site orientation.

Experience:

- Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (required)
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience in outpatient, acute care, complex continuing care, or long-term care settings is considered an asset
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a variety of patient care settings

- Ability to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and patient assessments
- Compassion and empathy when supporting patients and their families
