We are seeking a Red Seal Cook to join the team at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.

This is a permanent part time position, and the starting rate is $30.3759 per hour.

What you will do

As a Cook, you will support the team at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital by overseeing and participating in food production for patient and non-patient food services. You will prepare, cook, bake, and assemble foods for meals, provide guidance and direction during food preparation, and prepare special menu and therapeutic diet items.

Other responsibilities may include maintaining inventories (ordering, receiving, and stocking food and supplies), monitoring and recording food and equipment temperatures, rotating foods and supplies, cleaning and sanitizing tools and equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Who you are





You posses a Red Seal endorsement or a New Brunswick provincial Certificate of Qualification as a licensed cook. You have experience in large quantity cooking and baking. You have written and spoken competence in English (Advanced).
