Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Agriculture/Heavy Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heavy machinery and agricultural equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, along with hands-on experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery. Duties

- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed for equipment repair or modification
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during maintenance procedures
- Conduct heavy lifting operations and operate heavy equipment such as excavators or forklifts
- Inspect machinery for wear and tear; perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and recommendations clearly to clients or team members
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections,



and maintenance activities

Experience

- Proven dealership experience or extensive background working with heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment or similar brands
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems, industrial equipment, and automotive repair
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, electrical systems, schematics, and welding techniques
- Prior experience in assembly or maintenance of heavy equipment in agricultural or industrial settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment proficiently
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read technical schematics and manuals
- Experience working with automotive repair or mechanic services is a plus
- Customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients or team members regarding repairs or maintenance needs

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
