Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage cash transactions using POS (Point of Sale) system; Toast, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol serving regulations and responsible service policies
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed, managing inventory efficiently through proper record keeping
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours while managing time effectively
- Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bar or beverage service roles
- ProServe certification required
- Familiarity with a POS system, or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding related legal requirements
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Previous cashiering experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
