The successful candidate will be part of a specialized ultrasound team. Working collaboratively with radiologists and physicians, you will provide patients with a positive experience by demonstrating empathy, discretion, and professionalism while performing high-quality ultrasound examinations. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, strong analytical skills, and a logical, critical approach.
How you’ll contribute
- Clinical Medical Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with regulatory body guidelines and TELUS Health policies
- Take charge of patients upon arrival and greet them in a courteous and skilled manner
- Work with the radiologist and perform tests independently
- Lead by example by fostering positive and qualified relationships with all clinic team members
- Communicate with radiologists, the chief technologist, clinic managers, and directors regarding concerns or questions related to specific cases, processes, etc
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and participate in quality assurance and quality control programs
- Maintain examination rooms clean and fully functional at all times
Qualifications
What you bring
- Membership with OTIMROEPMQ
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ultrasound technologist
- Independent practice certification
- Bilingualism (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, strong prioritization skills,
and efficiency
- Commitment to providing professional and compassionate patient care
- Strong attention to detail
- Good computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software
- Experience with PACS system, an asset
- Reliability, autonomy, and punctuality
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will on a regular basis interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range: $70,000-$130,000
