Job Title: Casual Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse/Health Care Aids– Long-Term Care
Location: Ayre Manor Sooke BC
Shift: 8 hour shifts
Pay: Dependent on education and experience

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Health Care Aids to join our team at our 31-bed long-term care facility. We also provide care for 2 hospice residents, so experience with end-of-life care is highly valued.

The ideal candidate has experience in geriatrics and long-term care and is committed to delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

- Provide direct care to long-term care residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed (RN/LPN)
- Monitor and document changes in residents’ conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, hospice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care and support to residents and families




- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

- Active RN/LPN registration in BC/Health Care Aid certification for HCAs
- Experience in geriatrics preferred
- Long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Hospice or end-of-life care experience a plus
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently during night shift
