Full-Time Chemistry Teacher

Jaswant Singh Khalra Khalsa School (JSK Khalsa School) is hiring a qualified and enthusiastic Full-Time Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team.

We are looking for an educator with strong subject knowledge who can deliver engaging Chemistry lessons, conduct safe classroom demonstrations, and support students in developing scientific and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons.
- Teach Chemistry concepts, including matter, atomic structure, chemical reactions, bonding, acids, bases, and organic chemistry.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, quizzes, tests, and examinations.
- Conduct classroom demonstrations and laboratory activities safely.
- Ensure students follow laboratory safety rules and procedures.
- Assess student performance and maintain accurate academic records.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support to students.
- Adapt teaching methods to different learning needs and ability levels.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school administration.
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and academic activities.

Qualifications and Skills





- Strong academic knowledge of Chemistry.
- Previous Chemistry teaching or classroom experience is preferred.
- A degree in Chemistry, Science, Education, Biochemistry, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain complex Chemistry concepts clearly.
- Patient, responsible, professional, and passionate about teaching.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
