About Us

Supreme Lifts and Equipment is a growing, locally owned business specializing in the installation, inspection, service, and repair of automotive hoists and shop equipment. We support commercial automotive shops, dealerships, specialty performance shops, and hobbyists across Alberta and Western Canada. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a skilled, dependable, and experienced technician to join our team.

Position Overview

This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical expertise who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and taking ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, service, and maintain automotive hoists, including 2-post, 4-post, scissor lifts, and specialty lift systems.
- Perform commercial lift inspections, safety checks, and detailed service reports.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
- Service and maintain shop equipment such as air compressors, tire machines, wheel balancers, and alignment equipment.
- Work independently and collaboratively with other team members.
- Operate a company truck safely for daily service calls.
- Complete accurate commercial lift inspection reports, work orders, and other documentation as needed.
- Safely load/unload equipment, operate tools, and back up trailers as required.
- Travel for out-of-town work (typically 2–7 days per month; meals and accommodation provided).

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a current clean Driver’s Abstract mandatory.
- Reliable transportation to our shop near Chestermere, no public transportation access.
- Minimum 2+ years mechanical experience (repair, maintenance, or installation).




- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools and following safety procedures.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely.
- Strong English communication skills (written & verbal).
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and a mature work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to back up a trailer and operate equipment safely.
- Must be reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently arrive on time and ready to work for scheduled work hours. Regular hours are 9AM-5PM, OT available as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

- High school diploma; post-secondary trade training or journeyperson experience is an asset.
- Experience with automotive lift systems, hydraulics, or shop equipment.
- First Aid certification (preferred).
- Supervisory or lead-hand experience is an advantage and may influence pay.
- Automotive lift installation experience considered an asset, preference will be given to those with experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.50-$31.50 per hour
