Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional customer service while expertly preparing and serving food and beverages. Duties
- Take and accurately process customer orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation
- Serve food to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper food handling and safety protocols are followed
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and promote sales opportunities
- Assist with catering, banquet events, or nightclub service as needed to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math for retail math or hospitality calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a nightclub or catering setting is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations
