Warehouse Technician
The Warehouse Technician position will support the warehouse functions within the lab.
Hiring for the following shifts: Days, 8:00am-4:00pm
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma preferred
- Warehouse and Shipping/Receiving experience an asset
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate initiative and robust organizational skills
- Accountable, dependable and demonstrate integrity
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good verbal English communication skills and ability to read English
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and thoroughly
- Team player and able to work without supervision
Job Responsibilities
The following responsibilities may include some or all of the following or any other tasks assigned by Management
- Sorting, locating and retrieving client material and supplies from the warehouse
- Accurately prepare outgoing shipments as well as disposal and storage of material
- Update a computer program accordingly
- General shipping and receiving warehouse functions as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace environment
- Ensure that workplace health and safety policies and procedures are followed
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Extensive walking or movement, bending, kneeling, or standing
