Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation protocols
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to provide prompt service and guest satisfaction
- Engage with guests professionally, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns,



and ensuring a positive dining experience

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during high-volume hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and order calculations
- Effective communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, upselling, and guest services
- Kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food preparation when necessary
