Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shift Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure smooth store operations during your assigned shift. As a key leader on the floor, you will motivate staff, uphold excellent customer service standards, and manage daily store functions. Your proactive approach will drive sales, maintain merchandising standards, and foster a positive shopping environment. Duties

- Supervise daily store activities, ensuring operational efficiency and excellent customer experiences
- Lead, motivate, and train team members in sales techniques, customer service, and store procedures
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Manage inventory levels through purchasing, merchandising, pricing, and stock organization
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Conduct interviews and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong team
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Maintain store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with company policies
- Assist with budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to support store management

Requirements





- Proven supervising or team management experience in retail or a related field
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail sales, merchandising, POS systems, and cash handling
- Knowledge of recruiting, training & development techniques, and employee coaching
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in pricing, inventory control, and recordkeeping
- Experience with marketing initiatives and promotional activities is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and customer service excellence
- Basic math skills for bookkeeping, payroll processing, and financial transactions
- Multilingual capabilities enhance communication with diverse clientele and staff
