Food Service Worker Instructor – Morning Position - Scarborough Campus

Position Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Food Service Worker Instructor to teach our Food Service Worker program. The instructor must be capable of delivering comprehensive instruction across all core areas of the program and supporting students in both theoretical and practical learning environments.

· Institutional Food Service/Role of the Food Service Worker

· Communication Skills for the Food Service Worker

· Sanitation and Safety

· Quantity Food Preparation

· Nutrition and Health





· Medical Emergencies

· Placement (practicum)

· Job Search and Career Development

Requirements:

- Diploma in Food Service required; Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science preferred
- Minimum of four years' experience in the food service field (institutional setting preferred)
- Adult teaching experience is a strong asset
- Proficient in lesson planning, classroom delivery, and student evaluation
- Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills

Job Type: 20 hours/week. Contract. Monday to Thursday. 09:30 am to 3 pm

Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
