Responsibilities

- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, marinating, and organizing ingredients efficiently and accurately
- Cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines, maintaining consistency and quality
- Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety and sanitation standards to promote a protected kitchen environment
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by managing multiple tasks with energy and precision
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts to uphold hygiene standards
- Follow food safety protocols diligently,



including proper storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention
- Collaborate with servers and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent food service experiences

Experience

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices
- Experience in meal preparation and handling a variety of ingredients in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to sanitation, safety, and quality assurance
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and continuous improvement

Pay: $17.60-$24.84 per hour
