Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. This role is vital in supporting the overall operations and appearance of our premises, contributing to a positive and professional atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers, ensuring proper waste management procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other essentials as needed
- Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or reporting larger repairs to facilities management
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment




- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned

Skills

- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably in commercial or facility maintenance settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Solid attention to detail with an emphasis on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols
- Good organizational skills to manage supplies and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly
