Job Summary

Radisson Hotel and Conference Calgary Airport is looking for energetic individual for the position of Corporate sales Coordinator provides support to the sales and events team to the overall success of the Hotel by leading and maintaining guest standards for sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

Duties will include, but not be limited to the following:

- Targeting, soliciting, and penetrating new accounts in the Corporate, Travel Agencies, SMERF and Group Corporate segment.
- Conduct outside sales calls, telephone solicitation and site inspections to build relationships, aggressively target new business, and grow accounts.
- Attend industry events, educational workshops, trade shows, and company sponsored conferences after hours. (As when required)
- Conduct site tours for potential clients.
- Participates in applicable Radisson brand corporate training programs.
- Work with Radisson and hotel sales related systems.
- Evaluate business/sales goals, market opportunities,



and available resources to generate profitable strategies.
- Work with industry tools such as Opera, Lanyon, Meeting Broker, RFP to shift identified market share.
- Engage with Radisson brand contacts for required brand sales and marketing initiatives, training, feedback and coaching to help others develop their skills and careers.
- Promote a teamwork workplace with effective and clear communication amongst co-workers.
- Ensuring rooms & Event billings are all in order and accurate and PM accounts are being closed in a timely manner.
- Social media and other duties may be required.

Qualification & Experience:

· A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management

· A minimum 2-3 years of hotel sales experience is required

· knowledge of Microsoft Office, Lanyon, Cvent, Salesforce, and OPERA
