Prestige Outdoor Services is looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Crew Lead to run residential and commercial irrigation and landscape construction projects throughout Calgary and the surrounding area.

We’re looking for someone who wants to build a career in construction leadership: someone who enjoys developing people, delivering good projects, and taking ownership from the first shovel in the ground until the customer is happy with the result.

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead a crew of 2–4 team members completing residential and commercial construction projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Leading daily construction activities from start to finish
- Planning work to maximize crew productivity
- Delivering projects safely, on schedule, and on budget
- Reading plans and coordinating daily work
- Leading by example through professionalism and work ethic
- Training, coaching, and mentoring crew members
- Building a positive, accountable team culture
- Maintaining safe, clean, and organized job sites
- Solving field problems quickly and professionally
- Communicating with customers, suppliers, inspectors, and project managers
- Protecting customer property as if it were your own
- Completing job documentation and daily progress reporting
- Ensuring every finished project reflects Prestige’s quality standards

What We’re Looking ForRequired Experience

- 5+ years of construction experience
- 2+ years leading crews or supervising people
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Calm under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A positive, solution-focused attitude
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following:

- Irrigation construction




- Landscape construction
- Civil construction
- Underground utilities
- Earthworks
- Site development
- Fencing
- Concrete construction
- Similar outdoor construction industries

We believe great leaders can learn irrigation.

If you’re an exceptional construction leader without irrigation experience, we’re prepared to invest in your training.

Preferred Certifications

These certifications are considered strong assets:

- Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC)
- Cross Connection Control Specialist
- Standard First Aid & CPR
- Fall Protection / Fall Arrest

Equipment & Driving Experience

You should be comfortable operating:

- Excavators
- Vibratory plows
- Skid steers
- Plate compactors
- Laser levels and construction layout equipment
- General construction tools

You’ll also be expected to:

- Drive pickup trucks with trailers
- Safely transport equipment
- Complete daily equipment inspections
- Perform basic preventative maintenance
- Work safely around underground utilities and active construction sites
