Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our Circle K retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to customers, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a customer-focused attitude. Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or merchandising are a plus. The position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills, assist customers with product selections, and ensure smooth store operations.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and digital payments
- Handle cash handling duties accurately and responsibly
- Provide product information and conduct product demos when necessary
- Upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing excellent phone etiquette




- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Support team members in achieving store objectives and maintaining a clean environment

Skills

- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and balancing registers
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to perform product demos and technical sales when needed
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Merchandising knowledge to optimize product presentation
- Ability to upsell products tactfully to increase sales revenue
- Familiarity with retail sales processes, cash handling, and phone etiquette
- Multilingual skills are a valuable asset for serving diverse customer bases

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
