Sealy Construction Ltd. has an immediate opening for an experienced Framer in Calgary, Alberta.

Sealy Construction Ltd. provides framing & structural repair services, commercial & home renovations, and full scale general contracting services to our residential and commercial clients who trust in the quality of our work and our customer-service.

The Framer performs hands-on tasks related to renovations and can execute and coordinate construction work on various job sites as needed. The person in this position has a solid background, skills and experience across multiple trades and construction techniques, a strong ability to deliver exceptional customer service and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities:

· Framing, structural changes and repairs

· Renovations, repairs and improvements for both residential and commercial clients

· Windows/doors installations

· Light millwork, carpentry repairs





· Decks & fences.

· Full home demo and selective demo.

· Other misc. general construction or labour tasks as required.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience in framing, renovations, home building, general carpentry.

· Relevant trade certificate or schooling considered an asset.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to read drawings/blueprints and schedules as required.

· Great communication skills – written and verbal.

· Great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, active listener and critical thinker.

· Highly safety-oriented, must comply with health & safety standards.

· Ability to remain calm under pressure, to stay focused and organized.

· High attention to detail.

· Ability to meet tight deadlines.

· Vehicle required: truck considered an asset.

· Must be confident using smartphone, apps, computer, etc.
