Pay

- $20.25/hr. at start, with an increase to $25.25/hr. after 3 month probationary period.

- Additional $2/hr. shift premium on shifts operating forklift.

Schedule

-
Mandatory Saturdays and Sundays, and On-Call/Flex Schedule Monday to Friday, all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) based on business needs, expect 35-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

-
Deep clean & maintain common areas, bathrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and office spaces;

- Operating Forklift when needed (full equipment training provided);

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust,



and sanitize surfaces in the facility and manufacturing areas/equipment as required;

- Utilize provided cleaning equipment and chemicals;

- Abide by all health and safety policies, practices, and procedures;

- Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift to move materials and carry supplies;

- Perform physically repetitive tasks: work in a quick-paced environment, bending, lifting, pushing/pulling, using stairs, reaching, scrubbing, prolonged standing and walking;

- Follow all company and site instructions and building protocols;

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

-
Previous experience in industrialized or janitorial cleaning is considered an asset;

- Availability to work overtime and on weekends;

- Previous experience operating Forklifts or similar equipment an asset;

- Motivated and self-driven, with a willingness to learn;

- Strong attention to detail;

- Excellent oral and written communication skills;

- Minimum High School level education;

- Must be able to reliably commute to Oshawa, ON for work.
