Come and be a part of something new and exciting! Vivo Cura Healthcare is a multidisciplinary MSK pain management clinic focused on treating patients with muscle and joint pain. Our philosophy is that every member of the Vivo Cura team has a unique and important role to play as we try to accomplish our mission: to empower people in pain so they can get back to living. We are looking for a part-time Medical Aide who shares this philosophy and can grow with us. Reporting to the LPN Lead, the Medical Aide will be responsible for overseeing various patient-facing responsibilities and helping coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic.

**Hours/days of week may differ as dependant on physician/procedure schedules**

Duties and Responsibilities

- Warmly greet patients and ensure readiness for appointments by reviewing necessary paperwork, answering questions and guiding patients to change rooms should this be required
- Room preparation (Pre) procedure and cleaning and changeover following (Post)
- Update electronic medical record system with appropriate information as needed
- Ensure patient records and files are accurate and current during regular checks/audits
- Inventory checks and restocking
- Complete daily cleaning checklist




- Provide assistance to clinicians while they assess and treat patients
- Maintain and respect patient confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to Vivo Cura Health policies, procedures and protocols
- Various other clerical administrative duties as required

Education and Experience

- Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program preferred, and/or
- Minimum 2 years of Health Care Aide experience, experience with MSK conditions an asset.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$23.00 per hour
