Construction Labourer

- able to work as a team, reliable and self-motivated
- any training related to construction skills would be an asset
- be able to take instructions from supervision on site and carry out tasks as instructed with safety in mind
- be able to labour in outdoor conditions through all seasons
- ability to cope with the physical demands of the job, lift 50 lbs. and work on uneven ground
- align structural components according to blue prints. Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use
- pour concrete as instructed
- load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications
- projects are located across Ottawa, Cornwall and Brockville area, carpooling options are available
- job classification may be adjusted to reflect evolving duties, career progression - unionized

Pay: From $24.52 per hour
