Tide & Tales Bistro & Bookshop is a seasonal, harbour-side café in North Rustico, PEI. We offer all-day breakfast, specialty coffee, fresh baked goods, and a curated bookstore experience.
Now Hiring: Baristas (Full-Time & Part time | August–October)
We’re looking for skilled, energetic Baristas who take pride in great coffee and thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare high-quality espresso drinks and specialty coffees
- Manage counter service for take-out food and beverages
- Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain speed, consistency, and cleanliness of bar area
- Support servers with beverage orders during peak service
- Keep station stocked, organized, and service-ready
What We’re Looking For
- Previous barista experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Friendly, outgoing personality with great customer service
- Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure
- Team first mindset and strong work ethic
- Availability through peak summer months and shoulder season
- Availability for daytime shifts (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Experience:
- Barista: 1 year (required)
