Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Opthalmic Technician who will serve also as the front desk receptionist and assist with intraocular lens (IOL) procedures. This role offers an exciting prospect to combine patient care, administrative duties, and optical experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding patient service.

Duties

- Greet patients warmly, check-in appointments, and manage scheduling efficiently
- Verify patient information using electronic medical records systems such as Accuro
- Assist with patient preparation for IOL surgeries, including explaining procedures and answering questions
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, medical history, and treatment plans
- Ensure the front reception area is organized, welcoming,



and compliant with safety protocols
- Conducting preliminary eye exams, including visual acuity test, V-OCT, fundas photography, Visual fields, instilling eye drops and patient history intake
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and patient flow

Requirements

- Prior experience working in a medical office setting or front desk role
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems like Accuro or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to ophthalmology preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical procedures related to intraocular lens (IOL) surgeries is advantageous
