Discover a career as a Radiation Therapist in New Zealand

From the first appointment to final treatment, Radiation Therapists in New Zealand walk alongside their patients every step of the way. About the role

As a Radiation Therapist with Health New Zealand, you'll work within collaborative, flat-structured teams delivering high-quality cancer care using world-class technology. You'll have the opportunity to rotate across the full patient journey — and wherever you're coming from, we'll support you to grow your scope as you settle in.

Day to day you'll:

- Use leading treatment planning systems including Eclipse, RayStation and Monaco
- Build lasting connections with patients and their whānau throughout their treatment
- Contribute to quality assurance, service development and continuous improvement
- Support and mentor students and new staff as you grow in the role

A note on scope: If your current scope doesn't include planning, don't let that put you off — we'll work with you to develop and expand your practice once you're here.
