Job description and tasks

In addition to regular teaching responsibilities, the role also includes:

- Involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College
- Participation in departmental meetings
- Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and year-end Graduate Exhibition.
- Performing other department related administrative duties

Required Qualifications

- Master's degree in an Indigenous language * or
- Certificate of Graduation in one of the community based Indigenous language * immersion programs or
- Fluency in an Indigenous language * and at least one year of teaching experience




- Firsthand knowledge of Kanien'kéha:ka or Cree culture
- Fluency in both English and an Indigenous language *
- Teaching experience at the college level is an asset
- General knowledge of French is an asset
