We are currently hiring a part-time Clerk to join our Berezan LRS Hwy #33 Team in Kelowna, BC.
In this position, you will be at the forefront of our store, providing seamless transactions and creating a positive shopping experience. Your attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and dedication to service excellence will contribute to our store's success.
What you will be doing
- Provide excellent customer service, prioritizing a positive customer experience.
- Maintaining a clean and pleasant work environment.
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained on the shelves – including inventory rotation.
- Adhere to legal requirements for age verification when selling alcohol products, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, and special offers,
while also suggesting complementary products to enhance their shopping experience.
- Taking initiative to address “issues” and any possible stock shortages.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the store.
- Report any health and safety concerns promptly.
What you will bring
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and maintaining a well-kept store.
- The ability to lift over 50lbs repetitively.
- Product knowledge, cash handling and merchandising experience are an asset.
- Reliability and punctuality in consistently meeting work schedules.
- Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate.
- Must be 19+
