Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insulator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation systems in various building projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the use of hand tools. The Insulator plays a vital part in ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met across multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specified areas using hand tools and caulking techniques
- Install insulation on piping, and other structural components according to blueprints and project specifications
- Use hand tools such as knives, pastes and caulking guns to secure insulation materials properly
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine insulation placement and specifications




- Ensure all insulation work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and maintain workflow efficiency
- Perform inspections of completed insulation work to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements
- Follow and comply with company workplace health and safety.
- Own transportation.

Experience

- Familiarity with insulation materials, hand tools, and basic blueprint reading is highly desirable
- Metal work experience required
- Ability to work safely at heights is essential
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina are necessary for success in this role
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and working as part of a team is valued

Job Types: Full time, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
