Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
- Ensures all guests have a memorable experience in dining.
- Set up food & beverage service for Secrette cocktail bar
- Ensure exceptional service to guests with strong sales skills to increase average cheque.
- To demonstrate a complete understanding of Restaurant Policies & Procedures and Service Standards as outlined in service manual.
- Have complete knowledge of the Menu; Beverage lists and all other special promotions. This as well as having a strong foundation of spirits offered.
- Thorough knowledge of all food menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods.
- To be able to answer any Guest questions about menu items in an informative and helpful way.
- Ensures all bills are handled in an accurate manner.
- Adheres to Health & Safety policy and ensuring secure work practices are followed at all times.




- Adherers to all allergy policies
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous bartending experience in a high volume, execution-oriented bar. Cocktailing preferred but the right candidate will demonstrate a passion for service.
- Experience with Classic Cocktails
- Knowledge of wine and spirits - certification in Wine an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food pairing and menu descriptions coupled with a passion for food.
- Good comfort level with Jonas POS system.
- Smart Serve certification required.
- Must be professional, personable and well-presented
- Ability to work flexible hours – weekends and evenings as required
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have exceptional organizational skills and be detail oriented

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

- Ability to stand and be mobile for up to 8 hours
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders and stairs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
