We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Runner to support our roofing crews by ensuring materials, tools, and supplies are delivered to job sites efficiently and on time. This is a hands-on position that also includes maintaining company vehicles and keeping our yard organized and presentable.
This is a key role supporting the efficiency of our roofing and service crews.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver roofing materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
- Run errands to suppliers and local vendors.
- Load and unload materials and assist crews as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard, warehouse, and storage areas.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including cleaning, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Help keep company trucks and trailers clean, organized, and ready for daily use.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Assisting with inventory management
- Assist with general labour duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely lift and carry heavy materials (70 lbs+).
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
