We are currently hiring a Full Time Driver and must be available for both local and occasional long haul transportation. Driver will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting bulk animal nutrition and other agriculture products to various rural Ag. customers.
Our Ideal candidate will be safety orientated and have a passion for driving. Candidate will consider themselves professional and reliable and conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner. Candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
This position will require you to work an evening shift rotation, 1 week evening shift every 4-5 weeks. You may be required to sleep in your truck overnight as needed.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations
- Safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Report any vehicle defects, repairs or maintenance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and all company policies
- Maintain accurate driving logs,
load documents and any related reports and documentation
- Communicate effectively and regularly with dispatchers, team members and customers.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations)
- Proven recent experience (minimum 2 years) in commercial driving or heavy equipment operation
- Experience with Hydraulics and Augers an asset
- Experience hauling Super-B Trailers an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of provincial and federal transportation regulations
- Able to work independently
- Basic Physical abilities to safely perform loading and unloading of cargo, including working at heights
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs is advantageous
- Robust attention to detail and abide safety protocols
