We are a growing home furnishings retailer committed to creating exceptional customer experiences through thoughtful design, quality products, and outstanding service. We're looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our Canadian showrooms.

This role is responsible for driving sales performance, leading a high-performing team, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with customers and guide them through the sales process.
- Coach, develop, and motivate a team to achieve individual and store performance goals.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and retain top talent.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
- Monitor sales performance and key metrics, identifying opportunities to improve results.
- Manage scheduling, payroll approvals, and labour costs.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, merchandising standards, and operational processes.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards.
- Plan and execute in-store events, promotions, and community initiatives that drive traffic and sales.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends,



competitor activity, and local market opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve store operations and customer experience.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of retail management experience in a customer-focused environment.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong sales leadership with the ability to coach and motivate others.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with retail technology, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
- Experience managing store budgets, scheduling, and payroll is an asset.
- Passion for home furnishings, interior design, or lifestyle retail is considered an asset.
- Versatile to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
