Landscape Labourer (NOC 85121)

Employer: Seven M Construction Ltd.

Job Location : Various locations in Edmonton, Alberta

Wage : $19.25 to $23.00 / hour (salary based on experience, salary increases per company policy)

Employment terms and conditions : Seasonal, Full-time (44 hours/week), Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend; Overtime and holidays may be required.

Anticipated start date : Spring 2025 (actual start date dependent on weather)

Job requirements:

Language: Basic English

Education: No education required

Experience: No experience required. Company will train.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, Working under Pressure, Fast-paced workplace, Repetitive tasks

Weight Handling: Up to 23kg (50lbs)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, dusty

Work setting: Landscape contractor, park and recreation sites, urban area, commercial

Personal Suitability: Reliability, Organized, Team player, Dependability

Equipment and Machinery Used: Roto-tiller, Tractor mower, Weed trimmer/edger, Lawn mowers, Shovel

Duties:





· Assist with landscape constructions

· Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants

· Cut grass

· Rake and collect refuse

· Remove litter and garbage

· Cart and spread topsoil and other materials

· Lay sod or seed

· Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees

· Apply fertilizers

· Rake and spread topsoil to grade

· Install mulch and other decorative rock

· Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens

· Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment

· May drive some small equipment
