Insight Global is seeking a Senior Advisor / Senior Buyer for a 12-month contract supporting a site-based operation in Rocanville, Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will be located in Rocanville or the surrounding area; however, candidates based in Calgary, Winnipeg, or other nearby regions may be considered if they can support a hybrid arrangement with approximately one week per month onsite.
Working hours are aligned to site operations and typically consist of 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. This role is focused on strategic procurement and sourcing activities, including contract development, contract negotiation, and management of high-value procurement projects.

The successful candidate will work with operational stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, manage commercial risk, negotiate complex agreements, and drive procurement initiatives in an industrial setting.

Must Haves:

- 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement and sourcing
- Strong experience with contract formation, drafting, and negotiation




- Demonstrated experience managing procurement projects valued from $100K to $50M
- Experience leading complex sourcing initiatives beyond requisition and purchase order processing
- Background in industrial sectors such as mining, potash, oil & gas, heavy industry, or industrial construction
- Ability to manage multiple procurement projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies for high-value contracts
- Must have experience in private-sector procurement (public procurement experience alone will not be sufficient)

Plusses:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Professional supply chain designation (SCMP, CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent)
- Potash industry experience, including organizations such as K+S or Mosaic
- Experience supporting mining contractors involved in shaft work or underground operations
- Previous experience with organizations such as Redpath Mining or similar industrial contractors
