Responsibilities

- Planning, directing and analysis for multiple entities
- Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
- Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
- Coordinating activities of external auditors
- Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
- Managing the entire budget process for all entities
- Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing current processes
- Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
- Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
- Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
- Overseeing regulatory reporting,



frequently including assisting with tax planning and compliance
- Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Maximizes return by monitoring bank balances and investments
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees;
following up on work results.
- Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;
planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Troubleshooting with warehouse and operational staff.
