About The Role
Imani Health is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to support the deployment of our offline hospital system across partner hospitals and clinics.
This role is ideal for someone who understands hospital IT environments, local networking, offline-first systems, routers, switches, LAN setup, server connectivity, backups, and secure system access.
Who We're Looking For
We need someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to set up reliable offline infrastructure for hospitals that may have unstable internet connectivity.
The right candidate should be able to visit a hospital, assess the network needs, set up the required infrastructure, test everything properly, and support the hospital team during deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements
- Robust knowledge of LAN/WAN networking
- Experience configuring routers, switches, access points, and firewalls
- Understanding of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, network security, and basic server setup
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and local network issues
- Experience setting up systems in hospitals, offices,
schools, or enterprise environments is an advantage
- Must be practical, reliable, and comfortable working on-site
- Ability to document network setup, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
- Basic knowledge of cloud systems, local servers, databases, or offline-first applications is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, Cisco, or similar networking equipment
- Basic Mac, Linux or Windows Server knowledge
- Experience with backup systems, network printers, and local file sharing
- Understanding of healthcare data privacy and secure access control
- Ability to work with software developers and hospital administrators
