Position: Flight School Manager

Western Community College invites applications for the role of Flight School Manager at The WCC Flight School . We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in managing, operating, and expanding a flight school . The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong operational skills and a passion for aviation education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all operations to ensure the smooth functioning of The WCC Flight School.
- Manage instructors, dispatchers, and other team members , fostering a productive work environment.
- Ensure The WCC Flight School is well-stocked with the required inventory for daily operations.




- Coordinate student flight hours to ensure they receive the necessary training each week.
- Develop partnerships and collaborations to expand and grow The WCC Flight School.
- Make strategic decisions related to purchasing new aircraft and equipment.
- Manage and coordinate timely aircraft maintenance , ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor and train students as needed, providing guidance and professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Must hold a CFI Level 01 or 02 certification .
- Proven experience in managing a flight school or aviation training program .
- Strong leadership and operational management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement growth strategies .
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to train and guide students as part of the role.

Location & Availability:

Candidates must be available to work in-person from our Abbotsford location (Abbotsford Campus and Hangar) .
