Ensure alignment with customer demand, site capacity, and business objectives while maintaining compliance with cGMP and company standards.Drive operational efficiency, optimize planning processes, and enhance cross-functional collaboration to achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD), revenue, and broader supply chain goals. Oversee inventory performance, ensuring accuracy, appropriate turnover, and timely material disposition to support service levels and customer satisfaction.Day in the Life:Production Planning & SchedulingDevelop and execute short- and long-term production plans aligned with site capacity, demand forecasts, and financial targets.Lead master production scheduling (MPS), material requirements planning (MRP), and capacity planning processes;
adjust plans to meet changing business needs.Conduct capacity analysis and scenario planning to identify constraints, mitigate risks, and optimize output and cost.Drive alignment of production plans with new product launches and customer requirements.Lead planning forums to prioritize demand, resolve constraints, and ensure delivery commitments are met.Cross-Functional Collaboration & CommunicationCommunicate planning priorities and schedule changes clearly across Production, Quality, Technical Operations,



and commercial teams.Partner with internal stakeholders and clients to align forecasts, production plans, and delivery expectations.Support customer-facing discussions related to demand planning, product launches, and supply commitments.Process Improvement & SystemsMonitor planning performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and responsiveness.Standardize and document planning processes, assumptions, and best practices.Optimize use of ERP and planning systems to enhance team productivity and decision-making.Inventory & Performance ManagementOversee inventory levels, accuracy, and turnover;
implement actionsto reduce excess and obsolete materials.Establish and track KPIs (e.G., OTD, schedule adherence, inventory turns, order cycle time).Support revenue forecasting and performance reporting in partnership with Supply Chain leadership.Team LeadershipLead, develop, and coach a team;
set objectives and monitor performance.Support hiring, onboarding, training, and career development.Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement–focused team culture.Compliance & SafetyEnsure adherence to cGMP, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.Maintain data integrity and audit readiness across planning systems and processes.Promote a secure work environment and ensure compliance with EHS standards.Keys to Success:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering,



or related fieldAPICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification preferredLean Six Sigma or Project Management certification is a plusExperience:6+ years of production planning experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior leadership or supervisory experienceExperience in GMP-regulated industries (pharmaceutical or medical device preferred)Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and demand fulfillment processesExperience with ERP and planning systems in a manufacturing environmentEquivalency:Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated strong manufacturing planning processes design, improvement and implementation skills. Advanced Excel (Micro, VBA), Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, BI experiences. Knowledgeable in statistics, production scenario planning & modeling, what-if scenario analysis, algorithm for dynamic programming are preferred.Strong analytical problem solving, leadership, influencing and presentation skills.Seasoned management skills in setting team objective, drive cross-functional collaboration, prudent risk-taking, self-awareness and adaptability, results and performance driven individual.Self-directed, self-disciplined and highly organized;
