Job Description We are seeking qualified physicians and nurse practitioners to provide Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) services across Saskatchewan.
This role involves conducting eligibility assessments and/or providing MAID in accordance with federal legislation and provincial standards. MAID services are delivered through a coordinated Saskatchewan Health Authority model, supporting equitable, patient-centered end-of-life care across urban, rural, and remote communities.
Location of practice: Providers may be based anywhere in Saskatchewan.
Job Qualifications Licensed and in positive standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS), or eligible for licensure in Saskatchewan Completion of MAID-specific education/training, or willingness to complete prior to participation Must have or be willing to obtain CPSS scope of practice authorization and SHA privileges for Medical Assistance in Dying Demonstrated commitment to ethical, patient-centered care Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Advantages Perks are the responsibility of the physician.
