Our energy sector client is seeking a Production Accounting Support Analyst (Calgary, Early-Career) to provide end-user support for production accounting applications within the Alberta Energy environment Join a cooperative team supporting production accounting processes across Western Canada within a leading energy business.

This position focuses on hands-on end-user support, incident resolution, and application testing to ensure accuracy and compliance in production accounting workflows.

The role offers an opportunity to deepen exposure to the Alberta Energy sector and gain experience with Petrinex in a structured, team-based setting.





Must Haves Background in the Alberta Energy sector with early-career focus in oil and gas production accounting Experience providing end-user support and incident management for business applications Strong familiarity with Petrinex and related production accounting processes Interest in developing expertise within a production accounting team workplace Nice to Have Technical desk support background Experience assisting clients across Western Canada Responsibilities Provide step-by-step guidance for production accounting tasks related to the application Perform initial diagnosis and resolve incidents using a knowledge base Respond to client emails and provide appropriate contact information when required Assist clients in navigating government websites and contacting relevant ministries or industry bodies Assist in monthly application release testing, including creating and executing test cases Document client interactions and assign complex issues to second-level experts Maintain communication with clients and management regarding incident trends and issue status
