Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: Will train Work setting Staff accommodation available Relocation costs covered by employer Tasks Apply fertilizers Clean the crops Explicit and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Cut agricultural crops Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots Dose water saturation, light and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions Monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns Pack fruits and vegetables Pick row and orchard crops Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops Shear and shape trees and plants with knife Sort fruits and vegetables Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality Write daily basic progress reports Clean work area Fertilize and spray crops Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Detect disease and health problems in crops,
