Edmonton, AB T5V 1M7 Maxim is currently seeking a HEAVY-DUTY TRUCK & TRAILER TECHNICIAN for our Edmonton Location.

The successful candidate will work independently to complete diagnostics, service and repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Hours: Two-week rotation of day and evening shifts required o Week 1: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday o Week 2:3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday Responsibilities Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair of heavy duty trucks and trailers Identify potential and future problems Make recommendations on repairs or replacement parts Update the Service Manager on completion time changes Road test the unit to ensure quality of work completed Document repairs, parts,



or problems encountered during repair process on repair order Maintain a clean and protected work setting Qualifications 3rd Year Heavy Duty Apprentice to Journeyman Designation Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade Safety Inspections Certificate an asset Valid Class One with Air Drivers License an asset (for road testing) Team player with strong commitment to the customer Demonstrated problem-solving skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn in-house programs Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks Familiar with the tools of the trade and personally equipped with adequate supply of hand tools We Offer: Competitive hourly wage Shift premium when working evenings Group benefits including health, dental & vision Apprenticeship assistance plan Referral bonuses Ongoing manufacturers training Opportunities for advancement Boot & tool allowance Tool insurance Free parking and more!
