About the Role The Department of Education invites applications for sessional contract instructors starting in the Fall 2026 semester, which will commence September 1st, 2026 and end December 22nd, 2026.

The Department of Education currently offers a four year Bachelor of Education Elementary degree.

The Department of Education invites applications for contract instructors with the ability to teach the following course(s): EDUC 4107 Teaching Social Studies 001: Mondays 8:30 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. 002: Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. - 11:20 a.m.

Responsibilities Instruction: course delivery including preparation of course outline, course activities, lesson preparation and assessments, and course D2L site; and Administration: submit course attendance sheets, course outline signature forms,



input final grades upon course completion, and participate in scheduled program meetings.

Qualifications Master''s degree in Education or equivalent, with a Ph.D. preferred.

The successful candidate will be required to provide the University with academic transcripts from degree-granting institutions.

Employment contracts will be rescinded if the requirements are not met.

Recent teaching experience in the K12 system, with K-6 preferred and experience with teaching Social Studies.

Relevant undergraduate teaching and/or qualified experience.
