What are your contributions to the team?
· Work in collaboration with the production department, the aircraft methods support group and the engineering department in our manufacturing facilities to analyze tool requests in order to find cutting-edge technological solutions that will improve the business performances,
· Create, validate, issue estimates and cost analyses for all types of jigs used in the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft components,
· Participate, along with the tool designers, in the definition of the tool concepts,
· Issue order instructions to allow our external suppliers to manufacture tools as per our requirements and specific needs,
· Support our external suppliers during manufacturing,
· Ensure rigorous follow-up of each request to minimize delay,
· Inspect tools to ensure their conformity to drawings before delivery to production,
· Participate and support the aircraft methods support group and production during the first trial of the jigs,
· Provide technical support to the various production sectors,
· Assist operations during technical issues.
· Travel to different sites around the world, in order to carry out inspections and evaluations of various jigs.
How to thrive in this role?
· You have a college diploma in mechanical manufacturing or in aeronautics,
· You have 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting,
· You know Catia V5 drawing software (asset),
· You have experience in project management,
· You have technical knowledge in mechanical manufacturing,
· You can work in French and English,
· You have valuable manual experience in the field of specialized tools,
· You know the aeronautical field and more precisely the interior finishing assembly,
· You have an analytical mind and a positive sense of organization,
· You have excellent communication skills and enjoy teamwork,
· You know the Microsoft office suite.
