This position requires experience with developing CV, Multi-modal LLMs and/or Vision Language Models. You will collaborate with different Amazon teams to make informed decisions on the best practices in machine learning to build highly-optimized integrated hardware and software platforms.
Key job responsibilitiesParticipate in the design, development, evaluation, deployment and updating of data-driven models for computer vision applications.Research and implement the state-of-the-art computer vision and Vision Language models algorithms.Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design and implement computer vision and machine learning based features for Ring devicesInfluence system design and product vision by making informed decisions on the selection of technology, data sources, algorithms, and sensors.
Basic QualificationsPhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experienceExperience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applicationExperience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languagePhD or equivalent research experience, or a Master's degree and experience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms,
particularly with respect to computer vision algorithms
Preferred QualificationsExperience creating novel algorithms and advancing the state of the artExperience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly with respect to computer vision algorithmsExperience creating and delivering written and oral communications for technical and non-technical audiencesExperience in Vision Language Models and LLMsExhibits excellent business judgment;
balances business, product, and technology very well.

As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
