Job description:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of industrial automation projects, from single-robot work cells to complex, multi-robot assembly and welding systems, for a growing integration company.This role is focused on owning projects from kickoff through customer acceptance, delivering on scope, schedule, budget, and quality while building strong, long-term customer relationships.This opportunity is ideal for someone who is technically fluent, highly organized, and confident managing cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, controls, and installation
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn project scope, schedule, budget, and risk from order intake through final buyoffManage multiple automation projects of varying size and complexity simultaneouslyDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, resource plans, and cost trackingLead project kickoffs, design reviews, internal milestones, and customer reviewsAct as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical design, controls, tooling, manufacturing, and installationTrack budgets, labour hours, and material costs;
identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and commercial risksEnsure projects meet contractual requirements, safety standards, and customer expectationsQualifications:
Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics,
or similar)Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field6 to 10 years of experience in automation and integrationExperience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with PLC/robot programming, tooling design, and controls integration (literacy required, hands-on not required)PMP or equivalent project management certification is an assetG2/G class driver's licenseWhy is This a Great Chance:
