Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate/Senior Staff Accountant who can step in immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and is seeking to build a long-term career in public accounting. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and senior team members across a wide range of accounting and tax engagements. Key Responsibilities Independently complete compilation engagements from start to finish. Preparation of personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns (T1, T2, T2 NIL, T3, T4, T5, T5013, etc.). Assist with CRA audit processes and respond to audit inquiries. Perform bookkeeping tasks as required using QBO and QB desktop.



Align work with client objectives and firm priorities, demonstrating accountability and ownership of tasks. Qualifications At least 2 recent tax seasons in a small - midsize Canadian CPA firm with a focus on corporate and personal tax Proficiency with CaseWare, Taxprep, QuickBooks online, QuickBooks desktop or similar software. Solid knowledge of personal and corporate tax. Highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive. Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines effectively.
