Join the Royal Columbian Hospital as an Acute Care Surgeon dedicated to patient care and surgical excellence. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve surgical outcomes.This position with Fraser Health requires an acute care general surgeon who excels in clinical skills and has a keen interest in education and research. Work alongside 10 experienced surgeons in a team-oriented environment focused on enhancing acute surgical care. The expected commitment is at least 12 weeks per year, with potential for more.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality acute surgical services- Mentor and teach medical students and residents- Participate in clinical research and quality initiatives- Coordinate with subspecialty surgeons for comprehensive care- Maintain required medical credentials and licensesRequirements:- Proven clinical and surgical expertise- Fellowship training in Trauma and/or Acute Care Surgery preferred- Must possess valid CMPA, FRCSC, CSPBC credentials- Willingness for a minimum commitment of 12 weeks- Flexible to take locum assignments prior to deadlineContribute significantly to surgical care and education at Royal Columbian Hospital as a sessional acute care surgeon.#J-18808-Ljbffr
