Heavy Duty Mechanic.DescriptionWorking closely with the Fleet/Equipment Manager, the Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic performs duties and tasks related to the preventative and corrective maintenance of a variety of construction equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate loves working with their hands, takes pride in their work and likes the challenge of figuring out how to make things work.What you will be doing:Inspect and test heavy equipment (bulldozers, cranes, graders, heavy trucks, etc.) to verify performance and detect faultsDiagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues using computerized and manual testing toolsPrioritize repairs, perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and replace/adjust defective components as neededClean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance to ensure reliability and manufacturer-spec standard performanceService and repair attachments and tools (blades, ploughs, winches, side booms, harvesting/tillage equipment, etc)Evaluate parts for reuse or replacement and document work completed, parts used, and time spent in the shop systemMaintain a safe,
